If you have insurance, please bring your insurance card to each visit.

Some companies pay a fixed amount for certain visits and procedures while others pay a percentage of charges. You should become familiar with how your plan works – what your coverage includes and excludes and what your copays and deductibles are for visits and other procedures. You should also be aware if you belong to a tiered plan where most likely you have more limited access to primary care doctors (including our practice) and other specialists. It is your responsibility to know the intricacies of your plan.

As long as we participate with your insurance plan, we will bill them for you. However, financial responsibility for our services rest with the patient and his/her family, regardless of insurance coverage.

Many insurance companies only allow 90 days for us to submit a claim for you. It is important that you update us immediately if you have any changes to your insurance plan.

For copays, deductibles and/or coinsurance, we accept cash, check, and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

We participate in many insurance plans including: Aetna Blue Benefits, Blue Cross Blue Shield*, Children’s Medical Security Plan, Cigna Harvard Pilgrim*, Health Net Federal Services (Tricare), Key Benefits Mass Health – Standard and PCC Plan, Neighborhood Health Network, Health Tufts*, United Health Care USFHP.

*If you belong to a small network or a tiered plan, please be sure we participate and/or what tier we are in so that you understand how it will affect your financial responsibility We also take many smaller carriers.   We do not participate in Medicare or any out-of-state Medicaid programs.
